Footpaths

Ham Marshes, close to the town centre, are enjoyed by many people living in and visiting Faversham. The footpaths across the site provide access to this unique environment bordering Faversham Creek, with large skies and views stretching as far as Whitstable and the Isle of Sheppey. 

An application has been made to Kent County Council for a Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO) to recognise a long established walking route between Upper Brents and Ham Road. There is documentation, in the form of maps and evidence statements, that the route has been in use for about 100 years.
